Take a deep breath.

Is your newly adopted dog struggling to adjust to their new life? Perhaps your puppy is a tiny shark who destroys everything you love? Your furry best friend showing fear, aggression, or reactivity?

We got this.

You’re here because you love your dog. I’m here because I believe strongly in nurturing the canine-human bond through compassion, curiosity, and science-backed methods. I'm committed to ethics, maintaining my certification, and continuing education. In a world running rampant with misinformation about dogs, I strive to be a source you can trust.

Has someone ever told you to hurt or intimidate your dog, and you just felt in your gut that something was wrong with that? Your gut was right. Let me show you the amazing things we can accomplish without using force or fear.

Deep Breath is canine behavior support for the modern world.

Collaboration is key.

Modern dog training is 50% training the human and 50% training the dog. While your dog learns new skills and how to regulate their emotions, you and I will be learning canine body language, emotions, even physiology. Let’s get curious about why your dog does the things they do. As a team, we’ll build the fulfilling, peaceful life you and your furry fam so deserve.

Hey—you deserve the same compassion your dog does.

Too often, training doesn’t take into account the feelings and abilities of the other end of the leash—you. Living with a dog who is experiencing behavioral challenges can feel overwhelming. If you're disabled, neurodivergent, or come from a marginalized community, it can feel nearly impossible. You are not alone. I will be right by your side, empathizing, demonstrating, and cheering you on!

Together, we’ll create a training plan that fits easily into your life. After all, the best training is the training you will do, not the training you want to do. When life happens, we’ll tweak the plan accordingly. And don’t worry about being perfect. It’s overrated. Let’s work on growth instead.

If you’re feeling guilty or ashamed of choices you’ve made with your dog in the past, then here’s a secret: me too. I have experienced firsthand how hard it is to know what direction to take, especially when surrounded with bad advice! You are not a bad dog guardian because you’ve made mistakes. You are a dog guardian doing the hard work needed to move forward, because you freakin’ love your dog.

Let’s talk!
